What is a Microphone Flag? When you see TV reporters walking around in the field and they have those little logo boxes on their microphones...those are mic flags. This project will allow you to print all the pieces to make a mic flag (minus the foam inserts you'll need to buy/make) for yourself. What you'll need to complete the piece:1 Body piece 2 Top/Bottom pieces 2 pieces of stiff foam cut to 2 3/4" x 1 3/8" x 1 1/4"You'll need the kind of stiff, but maleable, foam that you find inside Pelican and other road cases that are used to carry camera equipment and such.To assemble: fit the top/bottom pieces into body piece to make sure they fit snugly. Trim/sand as needed to make sure they fit. The stepped part should fit up inside the body piece kinda like tongue in groove. Once both pieces are fitted it should create a (relatively) smooth 3" x 3" x 2" block. Final assembly is as follows:Once the glue is dry, you're done. You can now paint or apply stickers as needed.
