UPDATE 19-07: Just made the propeller from ABS. really happy with the build quality. The white parts you see is just from me sanding it (although obviously not needed). As you can see the detail is great: layer height .1 UPDATE (16.07): Be sure to get the "propeller 3.stl" file. I've remodeled the whole propeller surface from scratch. Made two separate surfaces for the inner and outer airfoil to achieve better transitions and radius. A small propeller head to measure wind speed and detect drafts. This is the first iteration, there is still a lot of work to be done, such as optimize airfoil shape, radius at tip and so on. UPDATE (16.07): Readjusted the settings: Number of perimeters: 1 (this way the annoying defect on the propeller should be minimized. All settings (for those who don't know what the normal print in Robox is): Nozzle: 0.3 Perimeter: 0.4 Infill: 0.4 Solid infill: 0.3 Fill density: 30% Solid layers on top: 3 Solid layers on bottom: 3 Speed: -Perimeter: 25mm/s -External Perimeter: 25mm/s -Infill: 30mm/s Created with Autodesk Inventor Ed and printed on a Robox at normal settings in PLA.
