Designed with the "Defence of the Ancients 2" logo this is a keycap for MX Cherry keyboards, the LED on the MX Cherry switch will light up through the model creating a glowing effect, especially with red/orange plastic. Dota 2 is played in discrete matches involving two five-player teams, each of which occupies a stronghold at a corner of the map. Each stronghold contains a building called the "Ancient", which the opposite team must destroy to win the match. ? I once found a store that sold dota 2 keycaps but they were out of stock and the store would'nt order in more.. So when I got a 3d printer ?I knew exactley what I wanted to make. So I took an allready existing keycap and slapped the DotA 2 logo on there and printed it, I had many mis-prints but I was new to printing at the time and eventually I got the perfect print. I decided to go with red plastic because the DotA 2 logo is red but I had no idea how awesome it would turn out, when I attached the keycap to my keyboard and powered on the computer the keycap lit up like if it was made of molten iron or lava. Credits to the Valve Corporation for designing the logo Print without supports and at low speed. If it doesnt fit on your keyboard you can try to make the "+" hole bigger with a knife or print it again at 101% size. Here are my Slic3r settings I used when I printed mine: -Layers: Layer height: 0.1 mm (0.2 mm works fine too) Solid layers: 3 Perimeters: 2 Extra perimeters if needed: Yes Avoid crossing perimeters: Yes Detect thin walls: Yes Detect bridging perimeters: Yes -Speed: perimeters: 15 mm / sec small perimeters: 5mm / sec The rest of the settings were standard, enjoy your new keycap!
