I had a need for a simple and robust tilt solution. So i designed this to do the job. The base plate is designed to hinge the camera actuator, and to house a futaba S3114 servo. The arm between the servo horn and camera actuator has a length of 15 mm. I fitted it to the hole with the cut-out area in the pillar on the base plate. This gives me from horizontal to -45 degrees to control. I redesigned the camera actuator plate because the first design wan't strong enough and able to fit small tie-wraps. This design should be able to withstand all forces. My idea was to create a flexible platform which fits multiple cameras. The actuator plae consists of small rectangles which should fit small tie-wraps. I'm going to use it to film on a airplane and quadcopter. The transmitter module that is visible in the picture, and where I designed the baseplate for is a Skyzone 200MW, RC805. I think it is very much like a Boscam TS 351. I printed it 2 times. The first time over with 0,2 layer thickness and 3 perimeters; The second time I printed the camera actuator with 0,3 layer thickness and 3 perimeters. The hinges have a 3.5mm hole and are designed for m3 metric bolts, but I found a tie-wrap lighter and easier. It is designed to be mounted with tie-wraps.
