BEFORE YOU PRINT: Print is finally at normal 102% if using ABS. This is a project to make a custom spool winder that you can put on a standard 5/16 threaded rod connected to a drill for winding your own filament onto a Robox reel. This fits the original reel and clicky's reel from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:547553 (assuming you scaled it correctly according to his directions). We're up to VERSION 6! This version features a a shorter skirt on the spool (no need for longer one), better bolt sizing, a little extra material in bolt area to permanently hold the nut, and finally a bit better sizing all around. I also included an alternate version of the backplate for those wishing to save a little filament. Your choice - solid or two options with holes. (4 large -alt1 - or 8 smaller - alt2) I imagine (since my printer is down) you have a trade off on print time vs. filament use from solid being the fastest to 8 holes being the least amount of filament. Take into count for those that asked for the holes - you may need more infill on ones with holes. This print requires the use of 3 nuts, one threaded rod and a drill. I made it originally measured for 5/16 (can you tell I'm American?) I believe this is close to the M8. You can tap the nut in with a hammer to make it near permanent. Final Note - This is a work in progress and at the moment my printer is down! Updates will come based on user feedback for now. This print requires the use of 3 nuts, one threaded rod and a drill. I made it originally measured for 5/16 (can you tell I'm American?) I believe this is close to the M8. Print in ABS at 102%. Other printers may vary.
