I extended TBuser's OpenSCAD bitmap font module to support drawing the fonts on circles and cylinders. It centers the text along the Y axis, and fits it to the radius you specify (longer text requires larger radius). The circles can be clockwise or counter-clockwise.The cylinders can be on the outside or inside. It requires the original bitmap.scad file to be in the same directory. This is an extension to the bitmap.scad, not a replacement.Include it in your OpenSCAD file (it includes the bitmap.scad), and have fun!See the 'test()' module for example usage.Keep in mind, when using these bitmap fonts, that compiling the CGAL for STL export can take a LONG time. It may look like OpenSCAD has crashed, but it probably hasn't. Let it continue working...(UPDATE 02/20/11: Made a slight adjustment to rotational spacing to allow for better handling of smaller radii. I also uploaded the 'test()' module as an STL for viewing using Thingiview (not for printing))
