This is a 3D model of the famous Snowbird Ski Resort Aerial Tram line. I skied there today and it was a marvelous piece of engineering, and seemed like a fun challenge to a beginning designer like myself. A few drafts later, and this is the final product. I do not own or make any claim to the snowbird logo used in this model. I included it because the logo is on the side of the actual tram and I was trying to make a realistic model.UPDATE; More accurate model uploaded. Since it is significantly taller, I have also split the arm and the cabin into separate files. Make sure your printer is good at bridging! This is a aesthetically pleasing torture test for your printer. I wouldn't suggest printing it unless your printer is very good at bridging. I have designed the top such that it should bridge the top in stages. If you view a slicer preview, you should be able to see what I mean. I would print it as is, 2 shells with 15-20% infill and no supports.
