This is a 1 part clip on guard to protect the props on your Hubsan X4 Mini Quad Copter.I used 0.2 mm layer height and 0.1 infill although the layer height shouldn't mater to much.I printed in black abs to match my quad but any colour will do. The part weighs in at around 4 grams when printed in ABS. I don't know how much this would change with PLA. I have found the battery life to be slightly shorter (as expected) but its worth it for the added protection from flying into things whilst learning.This part could be made thinner to decrease weight but this will also make it weaker, I have not had time to experiment yet.FITTING: this part can be put on and taken off without removing the blades. first hook around all motors (turn the props so that they fit through if needed) then push the centre clips so that they press against the bottom of the body.
