Have you ever wanted to generate your own green energy at home? Well now you can with this hydro-electric project. This is the MK1 version which features a NEMA17-based motor generator, 3D Printed; shaft, chassis and turbine. It is a work in progress that will need a lot of development work in order to optimize the design...but hey it's a start. The idea is to develop a technology which can be attached to small streams, water outlets, pipes and home dams. You will need to add two press fitted 608ZZ bearings.
