Have you ever wanted to generate your own green energy at home? Well now you can with this hydro-electric project. This is the MK1 version which features a NEMA17-based motor generator, 3D Printed; shaft, chassis and turbine. It is a work in progress that will need a lot of development work in order to optimize the design...but hey it's a start. The idea is to develop a technology which can be attached to small streams, water outlets, pipes and home dams. You will need to add two press fitted 608ZZ bearings. You will also need to bond everything together with epoxy adhesive to make it watertight.
