I made this so that I could easily remove and refill water bottles in my Critter Nation rat cage. It fits the 16 oz glass LIXIT bottles: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002QI5WM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I used brass threaded inserts and thumb screws to attach it to the side of the cage. The threaded inserts are easily installed from the bottle side with a soldering iron. These can be ordered from McMaster.com. Part numbers: 93365A142 91185A285 For "straps" I used silicone hair ties, but rubber bands probably work just as well.
