This fully assembled, print-in-place, functional belt is available now! Print it out yourself and wear it to hold your pants up. The entire belt and buckle can be printed on one build plate on the original Replicator. The belt in the picture was made in Transparent Blue MakerBot PLA on the Replicator 2, and it works perfectly. You should be able to fit over 7' of belt at this scale on the plate at one time. Looks great with matching High Heeled Shoes! http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31218 Created by Todd BlattAt this scale, the links are 14mm apart. The belt can be shortened by deleting links in the file, or by manually trimming them off once they're printed. With 64 links, including the last link, plus the length of the buckle, this fits through the belt loops of a standard person wearing 34" waistline jeans. This is the length of the belt in the justbelt.stl file and the belt with buckle.stl file. The shorterbelt.stl is a bit shorter. This was printed with 3 extra shells no infill. Use a raft if you're worried that not all pieces will stick to the platform. If you don't have it perfectly level, then some links might fail. For this to work, every link must print well.
