Plants like water. But watering plants needs to be done in the correct way. If you give a plant water each day, the roots will not grow deep into the ground and the plant will become 'lazy': this way it will suffer a lot from a short period without rain. The best way is to give the plant a lot of water, so this sink deep into the ground: now the plant will grow deep roots, making it stronger. The best way to give water, is to give the plant a lot of water, let this sink in and then give some more water. For plants having a small access point to water, this makes it difficult, since the small area can only take up the water slowly. So you should be able to give the plant a small stream of water, but for an extended period. And here is the solution. 'Slow water' allows you to screw a bottle on top and this will then deliver the water in a small stream until the bottle is empty. The whole model is provided, as well as seperate models for printing in 2 colors.Screw a bottle on top, cut the bottom out and fill with water. There is a hole (was not open when I printed it) in the base. You can either make a very small hole to get a stream of water, or else open the big hole, put duct tape around it and pierce this with a needle.
