A memory card holder that can be clipped onto the side of a CTC 3D Printer (A clone of either a MakerBot or FlashForge). I designed V1 using Sketchup after finding out that the other MMC holders don't quite work properly with my CTC clone. 05/11/2014 - I just uploaded V2, a redesign using Autodesk 123D Design. Although the software has much to learn from Sketchup when it comes to drawing in 2D, In my opinion it does offer better 3D manipulation than Sketchup. Case in point: it was easier for me to round-out the edges of V2 using 123D Design than it was to bevel the edges of V1 when I used Sketchup.Just print the STL file on your 3D printer. I recommend printing the "thing" on it's side otherwise you will want to include printing support structures for the overhanging clip (which is what I did). My settings when I print: Infill 10% Shells 2 Layer height .20mm Support On - (Only when not printing "thing" on it's side) The slots for the memory cards are intentionally loose so that you can easily pick them out and insert onto your CTC. It is my hope that older Makerbots and Flashforge printers with the plywood enclosures are also 5mm thick which would allow the clip to work with them as well.
