Students requested simpler CAD files for design 583173, so here it is in .3dm (Rhino) and AutoCAD. It is still experimental!!! It now includes the spine (also suits the offroad/GPS/SLAM/LIDAR experimental platform) and hip to suit as well as some carriers for Arduino boards if you are going that way. You can get a carrier for a Galileo 2 board that clips on to this spine as well but I didn't include it here (you can get it elsewhere on thingiverse: it is design 487236 ). I haven't uploaded the parts as .stl, as it caused confusion before and now the CAD file is very much cleaned up. You will do better to work through the CAD first, then figure out your printing strategy. Many parts are used in many places i.e. though it is a complicated assembly, few parts are needed. If you look at the CAD file in 3d first, you'll come up with a strategy. There are also photos of the parts (see instructions). You will need: -#4 x 12mm self tapping screws -#4 x ~6mm self tapping screws -1 x 100mm shock absorber assembly for RC model car (i.e. from hobbyking or similar - easy to find) -some longer 3-5mm diameter screws for the ankle/shock absorber pivots The photos should help.
