A nice and beautiful candy dispenser for your office, home or wherever! Mounted on the edge of a table it's always within reach for your next dose of candy. It even comes with two sizes of barrels so you can choose the amount of candy it gives out. The candy dispenser is not only easy to use but also easy to build! It consists of only 7 parts, only few additional hardware (screws) and the assembly is really a breeze. All parts are built with the tolerances to build it on a Makerbot Rep2 so it should give you a working dispenser on any comparable machine. I included the source geometry as a .stp file for you to tinker with. Can't wait to see your builds! Additional stuff you'll need: a fairly long screwdriver (one hole is quite deep) Printing: As I stated in the project description I printed with a MBI Rep2 and the dispenser is build with the tolerances needed to operate smoothly. The 4th image shows how i put the parts on the buildplate. I did not print all parts in one go though. That's because some parts need supports, some do not. It's just for you to see the orientation of parts. Assembly The assembly is pretty much straight forward. Push the nuts down the hexagonal holes, push the screws down the round holes and tighten screws. That's basically it. If you love details cut out two pieces of rubber or foam rubber to glue to the clamp and clamp stamp for better grip. The stencils for the rubber parts are included in the project as an .ai file! Have fun!
