
A practice using OpenSCAD to create honeycomb holes for cubic boxes, inspired by Box with Hexagonal Holes (by pmoews) and Customizable drawer box with hex pattern sides (by gpvillamil). The box has an interior of 50mm and thickness 1.5mm, which can hold my Printable Interlocking Puzzle Remix (Originally by richgain or Cube Puzzle (by MiseryBot). Designed using OpenSCAD 2014.11.25, fixed using Netfabb cloud service Please note: The box has a lot of leftover plastic strings over the hex holes, and maybe quite messy. The right shows a print that failed at half of its height. Please tune your printer well before trying. Any help is greatly appreciated.
