This is a single Sided approach to this board. But the version 1.1V thats in the makerbot SVN. I tested this board by hooking up an 5v arduino + GND then ran a magnetic strip over the IC. The activity light started blinking! So it looks like everything is working. This is also my first board I have laid out that was a double sided board converted to a single. Some places are "tight" but its doable. I have ohm'ed out all my connections and everything is great.Video of it in action here: http:[email protected]/* <![CDATA[ */!function(t,e,r,n,c,a,p){try{t=document.currentScript||function(){for(t=document.getElementsByTagName('script'),e=t.length;e--;)if(t[e].getAttribute('data-cfhash'))return t[e]}();if(t&&(c=t.previousSibling)){p=t.parentNode;if(a=c.getAttribute('data-cfemail')){for(e='',r='0x'+a.substr(0,2)|0,n=2;a.length-n;n+=2)e+='%'+('0'+('0x'+a.substr(n,2)^r).toString(16)).slice(-2);p.replaceChild(document.createTextNode(decodeURIComponent(e)),c)}p.removeChild(t)}}catch(u){}}()/* ]]> *//4170462649/ Enjoy.Ril3yPaint PCB with a black primer. Laser etch the designs. (a few times is better. Normally this is not needed. Due to the small chip this is a good idea) Then place board in ferric chloride or rub the ferric chloride on the board directly. (This is what I do).Remove and have fun. Oh and I used a header vs the CDROM cable that it called for. I want to test this out on the contraptor stuff to see how accurate I can get :) so no need for that specific port.
