A device that clamps on to a Tesla Model S interior rearview mirror stem, and provides a flat mounting surface for a dashcam (it could also be used for radar detectors, etc.).
The camera end is just a solid tongue that you can drill through to hold the camera.
The clip is designed to hide the dashcam from the driver's point of view. Note: the first image is upside-down.Made on AutoDesk Inventor 2015. Took measurements from the Model S mirror stem for a custom fit. Sliced in Cura. Scale up 10x to print. Printed 100% infill black ABS at layer height 0.3 mm on a Printrbot Simple Metal with heated bed. Added self-adhesive silicone grip pads to the inside of the clip to prevent the clip from sliding down the plastic mirror stem. Used a nylon bolt and acorn nut, filed to fit the camera mount and drilled a hole through the tongue of this part.
