My son and his friends like to shoot at each other with air-soft guns, including day and night battles. For the night battles my son wanted to mount a flashlight on his gun, so we spent about 20 minutes designing this clip on sketchup. This clip will hold a Maglite XL-50 LED flashlight on any MIL-STD-1913 sight rail. The clip grabs the rail tightly and doesn't slide without applying a lot of force, and it holds the flashlight with a tight grip as well.I printed this one with generic transparent ABS filament because I didn't have any black filament handy. It shows up better in the pictures this way, anyway. 0.2mm layers, no raft, no brim, no support material, 25% infill, avoid crossing perimeters, 0.5mm retraction on layer change. The pictures show the clip as it came off the printer- no clean up necessary! I failed to save the sketchup file for this one! Sorry!
