I've always wanted to have a surface to put next to my monitors at my desk, so I just designed and made one one day. Concept to cradle = 1.5 hours. Laser cut the parts (2 sides, 1 pallet, one bottom, 1 back) and assemble. The t-slots are for .625" long 6-32 screws with KEP nuts. It's great! No repetitive looking back and forth when checking things over. I use black spring clips meant for thick stacks of paper, A.K.A. "banker clips" to hold the paper in place.
