Profile for laser cutting out an Acrylic side panel to enclose our Lulzbot Mini 3d printer. This panel uses the latching clips (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756121) to attach to the printer. The clips attach this panel securely to the printer, without any modifications, and are easily removable. The right side panel does require the repositioning or modification of the spool holder. I've created a simple 3d printed bracket to replace the hinged arm (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756064), a backing plate for mounting it to the frame (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:766347), and a modified version of the stock arm (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:766330) to do this, and I think it provides for a more secure, easily removable spool arm. If you're interested in a kit of all the laser cut panels and printed parts, please feel free to contact me. Enjoy, Jim Rasmussen TabSynth Design Works LLCLaser cut from 3mm or 1/8" Acrylic. Also cut the clips from 5mm Acrylic or 3D print part: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756121 to attach this panel to your Lulzbot Mini printer. This does require you to either remove or modify your hinged spool holder.(http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756064) is one way to do this, in order to have a clear opening to insert this panel. Benefits are; simple panel to enclose the right side, secure, removable spool arm, no more spools falling down.
