Update (4/5/2016) -- Leaving this in the car is not good on hot days. The part has warped beyond practical use. I've printed it in PLA... maybe ABS or Poly-carbonate would hold up better to the hot internal temps of the car (now that Texas is starting to heat up) Designed these two mounts to slide into my car's CD tray in order to hold my iPhone 6 & iPhone6+. The iPhone6 version has been designed around the Otterbox Commuter case. The phone drops in with no added effort. The design allows it to be plugged in while mounted. I've uploaded the NX CAD files so you can customize it to fit your case. Just a heads up -- depending on what material you use, keep an eye on it this summer. My phone is getting a little more snug after the car has been sitting outside all day due to the PLA expanding. I designed/ built this over winter so I don't know how well it'll hold up over summer.
