This is a set of corner braces used for building a simple acrylic box or hood for your printer. The braces are designed to accept No. 8 3/4 inch machine screws and nuts, and 1/8th inch acrylic panels. If you're making a hood for the Makerbot Replicator with these corner pieces, you will need enough 1/8th inch thick acrylic to make a box 17 3/4 inches wide x 14 inches deep x 7 inches high. You will also need 20 No. 8 3/4 inch machine screws and nuts.Print the braces out with 20% infillI used 8 braces in all to construct my hood, with the 4 braces at the bottom acting as side braces and feet. When it's all together, it has a very neat and minimalistic look.
