I have recently purchased the gimbal (DYS 3-axis, a very nice part so far) and if you did as well you'll quickly find the boards are dangerously exposed not only to outside factors (rain drops, snow, dirt), but also to be hit by other gimbal parts when unpowered (see "before" picture). I felt so happy I've covered "naked" boards before my first flight as just one landing into a fresh snow powder could've probably been fatal to the electronics. The boxes should just snap onto the base and the GoPro mount without glue or anything; if they're not snug enough (or, the opposite, too snug), that might be because of the plastic cool-down shrinking; feel free to change the scale for 0.5-1% and that should work.
