This object is the tiny push button for the electronic control center. There are 6 of them on the stove and they are all needed for the proper functioning of the appliance. Unfortunately they are also very fragile especially when they get older. This was adapted from thing:10539 by Kim Tyson - Thanks to Mark Gaffney we now have all the buttons back in our stove. The front panel is shown in the picture with 3 buttons out for inspection. This adaptation of Marks version simply alters the parametric numbers he provided. This version has been righted on the platform but I recommend printing using a platform/raft unless you make the button flat. Be very gentle when separating the raft ( I use an additional thin layer on my rafts) and gently sand the stem using something like 600 grit paper so that it fits gently in the stove. If you have to push hard you didn't sand it enough and will have to start over if you can't extract it from the oven. Luckily all broken bits fall off inside and don't plug the holes. I made 3 of these. They work best printed 1 at a time - painfully slow print for such a small object - but hey, it works.I have replaced 3 of these on my stove. The originals are grey - I guess I could paint the new ones but the colour coding looks cool. IE you could use red for the cancel button.
