This is an add-on to the dog proof latch to make it more stable with doors that have large gaps between the floor and bottom of the door. It has a spring on the bottom to wedge between the door and latch. It also has an extra lip on the door side of the jamb to keep the latch aligned. I could have just redesigned the whole latch but I wanted to give folks options to try.To get a good print it would probably be best to print on its side with no overhangs as pictured. You will also need to print the original dog proof latch. Place the add-on between the bottom of the door and the latch. The lip should face out toward the door jamb. The spring should face down. I printed this on a Orion Delta 3D Printer but it should work fine with any 3D printer.
