Precise replica of the Commodore VIC-20 cartridge 'Raid on Fort Knox'. I dedicate it to one of my heroes, Elon Musk, who learned to program on a VIC-20. Thanks to Jim Brain for the original cartridge, and to Ismail, Olga and Niels for helping me print the label.Edit the .scad file. Set EXT_WIDTH to a multiple of your extrusion width. Set ADDSUPPORT to 1 to add manual supports for the internal clips (these are very easy to remove afterwards). Check the results using the 'cut*' functions. Then convert to STL, slice, check your gcode, and print. Optionally wet-polish using increasingly fine sand paper (I went from grit 280 to 5000), then finish with some plastic polish (I used Xerapol, then put on some silicone spray). Print the label and glue it on. Since I had problems printing the two parts directly (difficult overhang), as an experiment I decided to cut each part in two, and glue the results back together with ABS juice. That worked really well, except I was unable to completely get rid of the seams at the edges during polishing. I tried to use ABS juice here as well, but it seems I always end up with what I think are air bubbles trapped inside. I had the same problem with my earlier joystick, thing 30198.
