Mount Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia and is currently active. On top of the volcano, a 7km wide caldera is partially filled by a lake (Segara Anak) and the post-caldera cone of Barujari at the eastern end of the caldera. A massive eruption that formed the caldera in 1257 is a possible trigger of the "Little Ice Age". High Elevation: 3640m Low Elevation: 90m Area: 809 km2This model was generated using a program that is currently being developed. It is based on the GMRT dataset (http://www.marine-geo.org/portals/gmrt/) and utilized the interface from GeoMapApp (http://www.geomapapp.org)
