I cleaned up the code for my graham escapement script and broke it into two parts: The library has all the modules needed to create a graham escapement that meshes properly with its escapement wheel. See instructions for a complete list, and see the library itself for a full list of parameters for each module. The test script has the current candidate parameter values and provides two top-level modules:Using the test script: Comment out the top-level module you do not need (assembled or laidOutToPrint), modify any parameters you like, and hit F6 to see the results.Using the library: /* This is an OpenSCAD library to create a parametric escapement and the matching escapement wheel Created by syvwlch and licensed under the Attribution - Share Alike - Creative Commons license.v0.1 - 2011 04 15 - First library version of the codeIt includes the following modules:module ring creates a hollow cylinder centered at originmodule tooth creates a triangular tooth, sharp end at originmodule ringTooth creates a ring centered at origin with the child spaced regularly along the outside edge of the inner radiusmodule escapementWheel creates an escapement wheel centered at origin that matches the escapement if the parameter values are the same the teeth can be given a smaller thickness than the wheel, creating a drum, e.g. for powering the escapement via a weight on a stringmodule escapement creates a Graham escapement that matches the escapement wheel if the parameter values are the same the escapement is centered at the origin and mirrored around the y axis for proper meshing, it must be translated by 2radiuscos(180/numberTeeth*toothSpan) along the y axismodule placeEscapement places the child (e.g. an instance of the escapement module) in a position to mesh properly with a matching wheel at origin also rotates the escapement around the wheel, if needed */
