Drafting 12 student, Ben D., created this laptop stand using Solid Edge. We've supplied his .par and .asm files for those who might want to adapt the design. Ben created the portable laptop stand to help organize his DJ space a bit better. The design helps to elevate the laptop so it is easier to use while standing and also provides a bit more space for airflow around the laptop for heat dissipation.We printed this with PLA on a Makerbot Dual. 3 Shells 50% infill Nozzle Temp 190 Bed Temp 0 Each part needs to be printed twice. Build plates have been provided to help speed up the process. Some parts require support, some don't. All parts are friction fit. Super glue could be used where desired.
