This is a print I did as a study for a simple workflow starting with a form designed with Processing, then output using Processing's DXF library and converted to STL in Sketchup. The final STL was cleaned up (normals fixed) in MeshLab.The form itself a single primitive multiplied, scaled and translated in nested loops.Since the thinnest part is VERY thin, I found it best to print solid. Also, because of the shape, it's necessary to print on a printer that prints support material (unless some super smart person can figure out a way around this).
