I'm a network engineer and needed something to keep all my Ethernet cables in my bag from getting tangled up. It is sized to be a large as my printer can handle (6" diameter) and also keep the bend radius within spec for CAT5e. The openings have been sized for standard Ethernet plugs. I have been using a 3 meter cable and it has plenty of room to spare. I'm guessing it can hold a 5 meter cable, but I haven't found one yet to load into it. I patterned this after similar spools I saw for USB and audio cables, but I needed something for an Ethernet cable to keep in my backpack. This is not a remix, but a new design, created from scratch to spec for Ethernet cables, inspired by the other spools. By the way, this one is designed for right hand use. It is also designed to be printed without any supports (all angles are kept to 45 deg or under). Let me know what you think!
