Decorative bowl with honeycomb pattern. Scale the axes to get different shapes.Made in Google Sketchup by intersecting a hexagonal pattern with two half spheres. I uploaded that sketchup file in addition to the STL. This item is probably a great candidate to scale the axes independently to get different shaped bowls, repetier for example lets you do this. It has a flat spot on the bottom so will not need a raft, but it will need support for the first half of the layers to print properly. The only overhangs are on the outside though, so the support can be easily removed. Skeinforge seemed to generate much more useful support structures than slic3r. The default STL is about 14.5cm in diameter and 5cm high, and was run through netfabb once and should be fairly error free. The attached photos were printed on a solidoodle 2 at 80% scale and sliced with skeinforge at .2 mm layers.
