This is a mod for the Plastruder Mk 4 which allows a Bowden cable to be secured to the Makerbot for those keen to avoid messy filament tangles, or switch to a remote extruder motor to get even taller prints out of a Cupcake.Print using your 3D printer of choice. Put a M6 nut in the recess and screw the Bowden cable into it from the other side (6mm outside diameter and 4mm inside diameter tube works well). Unscrew the top two bolts from the Plastruder, position and reassemble. You may have to shorten the bushes if you still have your extruder board mounted in front of the motor. The purple cable in the photo is the wiring for my remote extruder controller - a cannibalised Cat5e cable.
