Updated firmware for the HIC prusa. It has the auto bed leveling feature, but not the servo arm feature. the reason for this is that i used the method of splicing the z endstop wires to the aluminum bed, and the other to the x carriage ( as long as it makes contact with metal hotend). when these two make contact, the zmin is triggered. this method seems to work flawlesly with my machine, however, if you find an error, please let me know so that i can update mine too. If you just want the firmware without the auto bed leveling, just add a "//" to the front of "#define ENABLE_AUTO_BED_LEVELING" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rS_nvMX6wzM&feature=youtube_gdatathe metal to metal zmin requires the removal of the z switch stop. the connector is the only thing needed to do this mod. An aluminum bed is also required for it to work properly. with the endstop cut off, solder or crimp a closed ring to both wire ends. You might have to make the wires longer to get proper clearances for travel. one closed ring goes to your x carriage (assuming it is metal like mine, and that it makes metal to metal contact with the hotend.) and the other goes to the aluminum hotbed. tuck your wires neatly and make sure they clear the travel. G28 G29 plain and simple..;)TIPS: -once the measuring of the bed level begins, you can add elmers glue on the aluminum, i have found this method to work without all the blue tape mess. -pay special attention to the begining of the process, make sure the nozzle is clear of plastic. use tweezers or sandpaper to keep it clean, as it is critical to get the correct reading. -i have found 180 degrees to work good without any seepage of plastic.i will post a video soon, depending on requests. :)
