I designed this so that I could try to print it on my 3D printer and I wanted to have a project that I could actually upload to Thingiverse because everything else I am working on is covered by Non-Disclosure Agreements. I hope to eventually have more time to work on my own 3D projects and upload them to CAD. I just updated this item to include some pictures of the actual 3d print and the file I used to print. I did this on an Ultimaker at Heatsync Labs. However, the prints did not turn out as well as I would like due to improper print settings. If I have time, I will refine them and print some better ones. I just printed two halves individually and will glue them together. Overall, this was a really fun and simple design. If you download it and print it, please send me a photo and let me know what kind of 3d printer you are using. I am hoping to find out which 3d printer can really print these out well and if you get a really good print, I will include its photo in the gallery and give you credit. Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated.I had some time during my lunch break at work so I used NX 8.5 to quickly create this CAD model. It only took me five minutes to create Ninja Star 1, then I spent three minutes refining the design to create Ninja Star 2.0 and then another two minutes creating the drawing and screenshots. If you are going to print this, I would suggest doing a high resolution print using PLA, 0.1 mm layer heights, and a slow print speed.
