here you find a building set for lanterns. You need no glue and you can change the parts as often as you like. Put the parts together an turn - ready. See the picture how to combine the parts. The lanterns designed for electric tea lights. You could fix the tea light with a rubber ring to switch the tea light on and off by turning the lantern. (it depends on the type of tea light you use). Attention - Do not use normal tea lights at the lantern! https://youtu.be/PFE54GnNC-Y Information: i printed with 0.1mm, but the printing quality of my printer is poor, so i am sure you will have better results. Special version is the solar light - see instructions for more information My intention was to make small LED project that everyone could understand and build. Most of the commercial solar lanterns have no accu capacity indicator. So the idea is to use the led with different colors to show the accu capacity. (red=low, green=normal, blue=full) To make the project more advanced i use an easy to programm and cheap micrcontroller. (more informations www.picaxe.com) I use this once if the project is to small for an arduino. You find the circuit, the programm and a build description at my pictures above. The advantage of a microcontroller is that you could expand the project. I use it for instance with a bluetooth modul and a temperature and soil humidity sensor. All theese datas i receive with my smartphone. Or you use a motion sensor and a small horn to prevent you garden from animals at night. But i am sure you will have more ideas.
