This is a version of the Z axis mount for using M6 Threaded rod on your MendelMax Z stage motors. It uses smaller M6 Thrust Bearings not the M8 ones used on MendelMax or the 608 bearings used on the original AlephObjects version.I have also altered the model so it prints a little easier and filled in some sections so it looks nice on the machine, also adds a little more strength. The clamp is also included as part of the model. You will need to update your firmware as the steps per MM change from 1.25mm of the M8 threaded rod to 1mm when using M6 threaded rods. This usually just means removing the divide by 1.25 part of the machine setup.3200/1.25 or 1600/1.25to 3200 (for 16 microstepping) or 1600 if you are using 8x microstepping. Why change to M6 on the Z axis? - I find it gives better results and does not fight with the M8 Smooth rods for control over the X carriage placement in horizontal alignment when moving the X carriage vertically.
