I wanted some better illumination on my PrintBot build surface, and had some IKEA Dioder series LED strips sitting around (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20119418/) The LED strips are driven by 12V DC so I wired them direcly into a MOLEX connector to connect directly to the PrintrBot PSU. Whenever the printer is on, the lights are on.Made in FreeCad (source attached) using exterior dimensions of dioder lights, and 6mm thickness of PrintrBot wood. Printed at 0.2mm layer height in PLA (210C extruder, 75C bed)
