Have you ever wanted to get a cool Point of View (POV) shot on your mountain bike for your Contour or GoPro but don't have the right adapter? Well, 3D printing has come to the rescue. This adapter was designed for use with the standard waterbottle mounts on your bicycle. It was technically designed for a Cannondale V500 dual suspension mountain bike, but also worked great with a rented 2014 Trek Remedy. Here's a quick video on how we got it all setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aSMxXZyLYk Here's the video we produced in Moab, UT riding Slick Rock. Turned out awesome! The Chest Camera was the GoPro (no 3D printed mount). The front wheel POV camera was the 3D printing-Bicycle Waterbottle HD Camera Mount, ContourHD enabled shot. Awesome day, awesome 3D printed camera mount, thanks to everyone who was involved! If you guys need more instructions besides: 0) Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aSMxXZyLYk 1) Download the attached file 2) Connect your camera using a 1/4-20 Screw threaded through the hole on the adapter 3) Enjoy Also, I'll be posting a 3D-printable adapter to help you hack your ContourHD mount to accept a tripod. More to come.
