A simple AVR dragon case that allows access to all the main programming heads (JTAG, ISP, HV_PROG, VCC/GND). There is also a hole to see the LEDs.I have been using the AVR Dragon for years without a case and thought it was time to rectify this. This simple case has a hole over the leds and two holes for access to the headers. There are no screws holding the case together I simply glued the corners together with acetone (any suitable glue could be used). It is glued on the bases that I'm not going to be replacing the dragon any time soon (use the glue sparingly so you can get it open if you want to). The top of the case holds the PCB in-place with posts in the corners. The bottom of the case has ribs in it under each side of the header positions to support the PCB when the connectors are connected.I used the following Digikey parts for connecting ribbon cable to the Dragon headers. WM8064-ND CONN HOUSNG 20POS .100" DL CRIMP WM2561-ND CONN SOCKET 26-28AWG .100" GOLDIt was printed on a MakerBot Replicator with the following setup:Object infill = 15% Layer Thickness = 0.333mm Number of shells = 0 Feed rate = 30mm/secThere is an stl file for the two halves printed together and one for each of the halves.Note: Care must be used when removing the top of the case from your 3D printer as it could break in two.Note: Acetone maybe be used in the assembly of this case, for those that need to be told.....Do not drink it or use it as a beauty product. Results may vary but will generally be bad.
