This simple printed part allows a Pilot G2 pen to be attached to the printer so 2d pictures can be plotted on a piece of paper. The part is threaded to fit a pilot G2 pen. When inserted upside down the pen benefits from the spring allowing constant pressure on the paper even if the bed isn’t perfectly level. Since the part is threaded, you can adjust the pen’s pressure simply by turning the pen top. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWuR4tzgNO4 You only print the first layer of the print. I just simply pause the print after the first layer and remove the pen and paper. Print WITH supports at .3mm with either the 4 legs on the surface of the bed or the barrel shaft on the print bed. Adjustment to slicer settings: Layer height: .1mm Speed: ~60mm/s Skirt: Disable Brim: Disable Nozzle Diameter: .2mm Lift Z (Z hop): 2mm Turn of the extruder heat Pull filament out of printer or select “DRY RUN” in repetier host.
