I wanted an awesome knife for airsoft use so I decided to try modeling Snakes CQC knife from Metal Gear Solid 3. The Strider HT-S seems to be what it was based on so I went for that.Made in 3ds max. I didn't bother to scale correctly as Davinci's software auto scales. It Should be 8.5 inches long just keep all the proportions the same. I printed it at .1 microns with thick shells and 90% infill. This made it surprisingly very strong. I printed it in 2 halves and then super glued them together with loctite. Then I went to work with some sandpaper and my Dremel tool to get it all nice and smooth and to even out the serations. Final step, I got some green paracord and wrapped the handle as directed in this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0KOgbcLcmI Gave it a very nice look. :) Oh yeah, and the holes I made ended up not being wide enough so I had to drill them a little larger.
