NOTE: I HAVE STOPPED WORKING ON THIS FOR A LITTLE WHILE Thank you printrbot for publishing the drawings for the Jr. v2! disclaimer: I haven't [fully] tested it yet UPDATES: ->V1.1 (4-19) -changed radii of various things -trimmed a bit off the body to save material and time, also for better clearance inside -rounded that a corner on the latch -added teeth on bottom of the inside when the extruder is held... for anticipated heat problems -packed it into one STL file So I've been playing with printrbot Jr v2 extruder parts for a while now... I wanted to challenge myself to make this extruder with the following features: -really easy latching, unlatching -3 pieces to print (minimum mechanical parts) -doesn't require any metal parts not already within the PBJrV2's extruder -could be printed without supports -fits in my printrbot (not yet made) - modular support for fans in various places and so I made this. the latching mechanism works similar to the original but puts less strain on the frame and is easier to undo for filament changes. screw sizes are likely to small, if you print this before i fix it be prepared to use a drill. I only followed the laser cut parts diagram note, the spring will be at the bottom of the screw and a washer (like one of the two found in the bearing) should be used between the spring and the latch
