I used this outline to cut a heat reflector for my new 3D printer. I offer a laser cut version of this part here: http://shop.dm-accessories.com/products/heat-reflector-for-mm2Print the PDF out on paper in 1:1 scale and use it as an outline to cut reflective insulation with a hobby knife, or to cut a piece of cardboard and wrap it in aluminum foil. Place it between the "Y" arms and the heat spreader plate. The cutouts should help align the insulator to the arms and the carriage car mounting holes The PDF might be drawn to inch units.
