The Ijen Volcanic Complex is a group of stratovolcanoes on East Java, Indonesia. The main caldera in which the volcanoes sit is 20 kilometers wide. The lake in the center of the caldera is recognized as the largest highly acidic lake in the world with a pH of 0.5 due to the presence of sulfuric acid.
