I used an amazing rose that I did not modify at all (Thing: 152642) and re-designed an existing stem (Thing: 245722) to come up with this printable boutonniere. I believe this is the first 3D Printed boutonniere and hopefully it will get used a lot for proms, black ties and even weddings. The mods: I shortened the stem to approx 72mm, widened the stem to 6.5mm and added the two holes so it can be pinned on. The stem top fits into the rose but it needs to be glued to keep together. Please print and share the pics here!! Thanks, FreeTinkers - A 'Secret' Society of Free Thinkers that like to Tinker.I used a Makerbot Replicator 2 For the Rose: No Raft, No Support 10% infill, 2 shells, .35mm layer height (you could prob do less), Extruder speed 90mm, Travel Speed 150mm, 230 degree c. For the Stem: Also No Raft, No Support -- Printed upright and worked well for me. I do use blue painters tape for all prints. 10% infill, 2 shells, .20mm layer height, Extruder speed 50mm, Travel Speed 60mm, 230 degee c. Found this is what works for me.
