This was my first attempt at replicating a model. It's without a doubt one of my favourite models from Star Wars. It was made by poly-modelling over screen shots from the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (SWTOR) game. If your into investment casting, this model looks great in aluminium. I have cast this model with the PLA burn-out method and it comes out nicely with very little effort due to its saussage-like shape. This design is fan art and based on COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL from SWTOR. It is provided here for educational purposes to inspire other Star Wars fans for non commercial use. The copyright owners details, and more information on this great game can be found at www.swtor.com Note: I am not sure if I have selected the correct License for this type of object (I cant find an explanation of what they mean...). But like all Star Wars fan art on this site, this is not to be used for commercial purposes. This model will require supports to print. I have printed it at 100 microns and it comes out quite nicely in its upright orientation. Every printer is different so youll need to make the call on how best to slice it with your chosen setup and material. If your into investment casting, this model looks great in aluminium.
