For the MakerBot Mars base challenge. I designed this base to be as modular as possible and as efficient as possible with its resources. The individual parts are purely conceptual and do not necessarily represent what one would find: such as scaling and aesthetics. Further considerations were technologies that might protect from high energy radiation, bare necessities and end-goals for sustaining life. Thank you for checking this thing out.If there are any issues please let me know as I, as best I could, put this together between studying and taking final exams which will be over as of the day after the contest. I built all parts in SolidWorks with a scale of 3.5mm is 1 foot. I also was not able to finish making individual tubes for the sewage, water and power to connect each module. Should you be interested in building on my design I would be happy to e-mail the original .SLDPRT files.
