This is a (2,3) torus knot with a variety of options for printing. The 2_3_torus_knot_new.stl is a larger, thinner model (shown in grey). One option has the label T(2,3) on the knot, the other option does not have a label. The 2_3_torus_knot_subscript.stl is a smaller, fatter model (shown in black). One option has the label T with the subscripts 2,3, the other option does not have the label. (The label is a little small in this model.) This model was designed and printed by my WLU summer research student Ryan McDonnell('17). See http://mathvis.academic.wlu.edu/2015/07/27/torus-knots/. This object was printed on a FormLabs Form 1+ printer using the both the black and grey resin for the smaller and larger prints respectively. We used 0.1mm slices for both prints. The .form files used to print the objects are included. The print came out really well in both cases :-) We haven't tried printing this on the MakerBot printer yet.
